Adult Learning Australia is seeking a skilled, experienced, and self-motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in journalism/professional writing to produce stories for Quest, ALA’s quarterly magazine. Our emphasis is on new or innovative programs that are helping people overcome disadvantage.
You will be enthusiastic about storytelling and demonstrate initiative in finding compelling stories that are new and engaging, have the ability to prioritise work, and work to tight deadlines. Having a working knowledge of the not-for-profit sector and/or adult and community education is an advantage.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced freelancer who can help us capture the breadth, variety, and impact of adult education programs on offer across Australia through a range of stories, providing around 5,500 words per issue.
