Webinar: A picture tells a thousand words: using FlickR for image sharing and social networking

Robyn JayThere are many online tools for collaboration and community building. These tools allow us to connect with and share resources.

Flickr, for example, is a wonderful photo-sharing community. Its expansive image database and photo-management features make it a wonderful tool for those involved in community education.

FlickR allows us to upload images and short videos. It includes a range of tools and services that enable group discussion and presentations, etc. With the increasing quality of cameras in mobile devices, such as Smartphones and iPads, you can also upload images ‘on-the-go’! Flickr is a great free or low cost online service.

In this session, Robyn Jay will step through Flickr’s services, tools and account options. She will also provide links to how-to guides and examples.
