2025 ALA AGM

It’s that time of the year again! You are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) where we come together to celebrate, reflect, and welcome new faces to our Board while bidding farewell to those whose terms have ended.

Join our 2025 AGM – special guest, Shelly Jones, Head of Programs, The Zahra Foundation, on the important role of adult education in recovery from family violence.

Everyone is welcome to attend, with only current ALA members entitled to vote.

Shelly is the Head of Programs at The Zahra Foundation. She brings extensive experience in vocational education and training management, focusing on program and resource development and compliance.

Shelly’s dedication to supporting women stems from her own lived experience with family and domestic violence. Motivated by her journey through various systems and services, she now channels her passion and expertise into developing and delivering educational and therapeutic programs that empower other women to rebuild their lives.
