TWO-DAY PROGRAM (Register and pay for either or both days)

DAY ONE – Thursday August 25, 2011

Men’s Shed Study Tour: starting 9.00am Brimbank Men’s Shed, Sunshine (Melbourne), finishing (with 6.00pm dinner) at Ballarat East Community Shed. Other sessions are at Melton Men’s Shed, Daylesford Men’s Shed & Creswick Men’s Friendship Shed.

 

DAY TWO – Friday August 26, 2011

Men’s Shed Research & Practice Forum: 9.30am – 4.00pm, School of Education and Arts, University of Ballarat, Camp Street Campus, Ballarat.

Parking: (three major parking options)

  • Big W/Dan Murphy’s car park (free – 2hrs max. Cnr of Grenville and Curtis Streets)
  • Central Square Multi-storey (first 2 hrs free, all day paid parking on levels 9 to 12)
  • Good Guys underground car park (paid parking all day, enter off Shepherd Street)

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Shedders and men’s shed organizers. Practitioners, policy makers & researchers interested in men’s health, learning, ageing and wellbeing; Government and community-based organisation representatives. This is a unique opportunity to visit five different men’s sheds & hear what is known internationally, first hand.
