Network West Inc. represents all Neighbourhood Houses in the Western Metropolitan Region which covers the municipalities of Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Melton, Moonee Valley and Wyndham.
Network West Inc receives funding from the State Government Neighbourhood House Coordination Program to employ a Networker.
The Position is directly responsible to a Committee of Management, which is accountable to the Department of Health and Human Services to ensure funding is appropriately managed to support the Western Metropolitan Region of Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres.
The Networker’s work is varied, flexible and responsive to the requirements of member houses, the broader sector and the community at large. At the regional level the Networker facilitates local support and advocacy for member houses.
