Using creative AI to teach LLN by stealth

  • When: Friday 25 July @ 11am AEST – Please note the date and time change for this special webinar, as it is not being held on the usual Wednesday.
  • Duration: 1 hr
  • Cost: FREE for ALA members | $65 non-members

In this session, Dean will discuss strategies and practices he uses with his cohort of foundation level students with a diagnosed intellectual disability.

Dean has found that AI can enable students to practice and develop their LLN skills in creative and fun ways such as:

  • writing prompts to create AI generated art
  • writing lyrics to create AI generated songs
  • writing ideas for songs and then using AI to help shape the lyrics
  • memorising monologues to mime to, to create AI generated animations
  • writing stories in PowerPoint, then creating an AI generated song or podcast from the story dialogue.
