Learn Local Futures Forum

The Learn Local sector has been through some complex and challenging times in recent years. We’d like to take the time to reflect on the impact of changes to the sector, to develop a vision of where the sector can go and to refine the messages that we want to give to the incoming Victorian government. This is a joint initiative between ANHLC, ACEVic, Community Colleges Australia and Adult Learning Australia. Members of these groups are invited to attend.

The forum will focus on three questions:

  1. What are the challenges for the Learn Local sector?
  2. What are the challenges for Learn Local RTOs?
  3. Where should the sector go from here?

By the end of the day we hope to agree on a statement about the future of the sector that you can take back to your organisation for further discussion and hopefully endorsement. The statement will then form the basis for the peak bodies lobbying on your behalf.

Provide Input

To help us start the conversation, we’re asking participants to complete a very short survey about each of the questions ahead of time. We’ll collate these, so that we arrive ready to maximise the time we have together.   For those who are unable to come to the forum, this is a great way to have your voice heard.  Follow the link to complete the survey.
