Call for proposals on the NBN-enabled Education and Skills Services program

A call for proposals for the NBN-Enabled Education and Skills Services (NBN-EESS) Program was announced on 1 December 2011. The call for proposals will close on Friday 3 February 2012 at 5:00 pm (AEST).

The program will support the development and trialing of innovative online education and skills services that take advantage of the high speed broadband connections of the National Broadband Network and will provide more interactive and effective learning opportunities for all Australians, no matter where they live.

The focus will be on projects that conduct National Broadband Network enabled services within, connecting to, or between National Broadband Network early release sites.

Online registration and application for funding under the NBN-EESS Program are now open. Potential applicants are required to register online prior to accessing and submitting an application to the NBN-EESS Program. Further information on the Program and the registration and application for funding process can be found at: www.deewr.gov.au/Department/Pages/nbneducationandskills.aspx
