ALA webinar: Demystifying solar power

There are over 1 million solar power systems installed throughout Australia and your community centre may be in an ideal position to take advantage of the power that solar generates.

Generating your own renewable electricity with solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on your roof may seem like a big outlay, but if designed and sized correctly a solar panel system can pay for itself in around 5–10 years through money saved on power bills.

In this webinar, Katrina Shields (Byron Region Community College) and Damien Moyse (Alternative Technology Association) will cut through the confusion about installing solar power. They will also give you a closer look at solar power and help you to decide whether or not it will work for your community centre.

Take this opportunity to pick the brains of our energy efficiency experts.
