ALA submission into Parliamentary Inquiry into Adult Literacy

Adult Learning Australia made a submission to the Parliament of Australia, Standing Committee on Employment, Education and Training Inquiry into Adult Literacy and its Importance.

Our submission recommended that we take steps to:

  • analyse the key characteristics of adults with low LLND skills
  • better understand what motivates people to improve their language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills
  • recognise, identify and integration adult LLND provision around Australia
  • sustain and skill the adult LLND workforce.
