ALA job opportunity:– Communications Coordinator (temporary part time position)

ALA is seeking a skilled, experienced and self-motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in journalism/professional writing to fill our Communications Coordinator position for 6 months.

You will be enthusiastic about storytelling and demonstrate initiative in finding compelling stories and shareable content, have the ability to prioritise work and to work to tight deadlines. Having a working knowledge of the not-for-profit sector and/or adult and community education is an advantage.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual who can work in a fast-paced community environment.

Remuneration

Flexible working arrangements including an opportunity to WFH. The position is based on the Education Services (Post-Secondary Education) award 2020. This is a fixed term, part time position of .4 EFT for 26 weeks and pro rata with the position commencing mid-September and will cover an employee’s leave.
