We are looking for an exceptional individual with a diverse skill set and extensive experience across the adult learning sector. The successful applicant will join the ASRC Education Team and key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the current ASRC English as an Alternative Language (EAL) and Home English Tutoring (HET) Programs;
- Developing and facilitating the transition of an education and training model designed to increase the job readiness capabilities of people seeking asylum, whilst building their English proficiency; and
- Implementing, monitoring and evaluating curriculum frameworks that support EAL volunteers to plan, develop, teach and review non-accredited courses.
The successful applicant will also contribute to the Asylum Seeker Vocational, Education and Training (ASVET) program by designing and facilitating the delivery of professional development workshops and related resources; and support the development of a Community of Best Practice forum.
