The Australian Journal of Adult Learning (AJAL) is published three times each year. It promotes critical thinking and research in the field of adult learning as well as the theory, research and practice of adult and community education. Each issue features articles that have been double, blind-peer refereed.
AJAL has been published by Adult Learning Australia for over 64 years and is widely recognised as the leading journal on adult education in Australia. It is also highly regarded internationally.
Call for Expressions of Interest: AJAL Editor
Due to the upcoming retirement of our current editor, Associate Professor Trace Ollis, we are seeking a new editor for a 3-5 year term, beginning in 2025.
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced editors passionate about adult learning and community education. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the editorial direction of a respected journal that showcases research, insights, and perspectives from the adult education sector in Australia and beyond.
