2011 marks the 20th anniversary of state legislation for Adult Education in Victoria. This was the first whole of state and legislative support for Adult and Community Education.
To celebrate this milestone, the Department of Adult Community and Further Education (ACFE) are commissioning a book which will look back on the 20 years and what the legislated base has achieved.
Jane Dewildt from ACFE says that the book will be a reflection, a resource and a celebration and will look at achievements, policies and personal stories.
The book will be launched at a gala lunch during Adult Learners’ Week in September of this year.
