In 2025, Adult Learning Australia (ALA) is hosting a round of the revised Adult Literacy and Numeracy Practitioner Program (ALNPP) and another round of the ALNPP Koorie module.
The Adult Literacy and Numeracy Practitioner Program (ALNPP) was co-designed with the sector to build the capacity of Learn Local providers to deliver high quality language, literacy, numeracy, employability and digital (LLNED) pre-accredited programs. It consists of 20 hours of professional learning.
The ALNPP Koorie module was created in collaboration with the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Inc (VAEAI) and explores community understanding and safety training as well as Indigenous pedagogies, knowledge frameworks, inclusive teaching practice and Aboriginal English. The Koorie module involves 5 hours of professional learning.
The ALNPP and the Koorie module are both delivered through online self-paced e-learning as well as live webinar events with expert facilitators.
