The Learning through Gardening Course was developed by National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) and Kerry Education and Training Board (Ireland) as an unaccredited, integrated course to help learners develop literacy, numeracy and technology skills through gardening. There are 4 modules in the course:

  1. Maths – quantity and numbers
  2. Communications – writing
  3. Digital literacy – using technology | computer skills
  4. Horticulture – life science

Adult Learning Australia mapped these original resources to the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
