Ros Bauer

Facilitator Ros Bauer has extensive experience in adult education and leadership as a LLN practitioner and is currently Head of Department Career Pathways, Aboriginal Languages & Employability Skills at TAFE NSW. She was the winner of the 2013 Australian Training Awards Excellence in Adult LLN Practice and a recipient of an Executive Fellowship through the Australian Endeavour Awards; which included a professional learning experience in Scandinavia. She was part of the NT LLN Network Group and an educational consultant to the Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation.

Isabel Osuna-Gatty

Isabel received the 2016 Australian Training Awards for Excellence in Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Practice. She has led projects for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people with disabilities, and multicultural backgrounds. She worked as an assessor and trainer for the SenaiNT English Language Centre in Timor Leste.

Isabel has spoken at national and international conferences and webinars. Her community work was featured in the 2019 Northern Territory Human Rights Awards.

She holds Master’s Degrees in Analytical Psychology and Social Work, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set. She specialises in instructional design, creating training resources, and developing assessment tools, focusing on accessibility and inclusivity.

Currently, Isabel is a Mental Health Practitioner in private practice and participates in community projects enhancing lifelong learning, mental health, and wellbeing for multicultural and Aboriginal communities and people with disabilities. She is involved with literacy projects at RaPAL and serves on the boards of the South Australian Social Workers’ Association and the SA Royal Life Saving Society.

Giselle Sim

Giselle is an Applied Anthropologist who began working in the adult learning and community space out of Cloverdale Community Centre in 2019. Giselle is a 2021 Fellow with the International Specialised Skills Institute, where she focused on social and emotional theory and research applied to supporting community participation, education, and employment for people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
