ALA webinar: Supporting low literacy learners using the ACSF

At this webinar, Rachel will focus on how to ensure adult learners with low language, literacy and numeracy are supported through the use of the Australian Core Skills Framework tasks to develop and extend their engagement with their learning content.

  • Creating simple bench-marked LLN tasks
  • Performance attributes and domains
  • ACSF level descriptors
  • Building tasks from the ACSF out

Rachel TaylorRachel Leigh Taylor has more than 20 years’ experience teaching, designing, managing and quality auditing in the VET sector in Australia and abroad.

With a background in second language education, Rachel has a strong focus on simplifying educational resources for ease of use and promoting professional development for trainers in how to adapt their practises to enhance learning and assessment outcomes while focusing on enhancing LLN capabilities.
