Wayne Hosking
After 16 years at the helm of the world’s largest rock lobster exporter, Wayne re-trained as an adult literacy and numeracy teacher. Wayne was chair of the Geraldton University Centre when it transitioned from a University-controlled entity to Australia’s first independent, locally controlled University Centre.
He taught literacy at the Greenough Regional Prison for 3 years, and now runs Hub Cap, providing literacy, art and music programs for marginalised men in the Mid-West community. He is also a tutor for Curtin University Centre for Aboriginal Studies and a support worker for Housing First Support Services.
Josephine Boffa
Josephine is the Community Partnerships Coordinator for Jesuit Community College, a program of Jesuit Social Services. She has extensive experience working in the not-for-profit sector in the areas of education, training and employment in assisting individuals, and by extension, their families to achieve greater social and economic participation.
