ALA webinar: ‘Best-practice’ competency-based assessment

Back by popular demand, Chemène is returning to repeat her presentation on ‘Best-practice’ competency-based assessment.

Suitable for

New or experienced RTO assessors or managers of assessors.

Description

In this interactive webinar we’ll cover key knowledge that assessors need to ensure that their assessment practice is of the highest-possible standard. We’ll help new entrants get ‘up to speed’ with ‘best practice’ assessment, and help experienced assessors refresh skills and remain current with their assessment practice.

Outcomes

By the end of this webinar participants should be able to:

  • explain the Principles of Assessment and the Rules of Evidence, and how assessors use these concepts to ensure ‘best practice’ assessment
  • define ‘competence’ and identify forms of evidence that demonstrate competence
  • identify current industry expectations for ‘best practice’ assessment.
