Educators today are having to grapple with increased numbers of adult learners affected by Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), particularly women. This webinar will provide information about what ADHD is, how to recognise the symptoms, and how to understand the common challenges faced by adults with ADHD. Karen Dymke will also discuss strategies to support students with the disorder.

Karen has spent the last 30 plus years teaching and coaching in a range of contexts from university to Learn Locals.

Karen has taken a leading role in various curriculum development projects; teacher training initiatives;

presenting at numerous local and national conferences and workshops; and collaborated with educators to implement initiatives promoting research based and high impact strategies. Karen has a passion for vulnerable and disadvantaged learners. She is the Director of Thoughtful Works.
